Military Strategies

During the “Military Strategies” camp, students will embark on a journey through military history, unraveling the art of war from ancient battles to modern conflicts. From Sun Tzu’s masterstrokes in ancient China to the tactical conquests of Alexander and Napoleon and the technology innovations of the World Wars, participants will watch history unfold through the lens of strategic brilliance, engaging in dynamic discussions and analyzing historic campaigns. The week concludes with students testing their own strategic mettle in the Social Studies Club’s iconic Conflict game, where teams compete in geopolitical problem-solving on a global scale.

History in Sports

Our theme, "Sports in History," provides students with a captivating journey into major historical events, such as the Civil Rights Movement, Cold War, Apartheid, Great Depression, and WWII, through a new lens. Throughout this experience, participants will delve into the intricate connections between sports and these significant historical chapters, uncovering the profound impact that athletic pursuits had on shaping the course of history. Students will participate in discussions, watch topical movies, and engage in our Social Studies Club game of Conflict, where teams compete in global geopolitical problem-solving.
