Open to rising sophomores enrolled in English 10 only. Students will read and discuss William Golding's Lord of the Flies, the unforgettable novel that tells the story of a group of stranded boys who survive a plane crash and then must survive one another. An opportunity for students to complete their mandatory summer reading work and prepare for the in-class assessment in September, the program sets the foundation for students’ study of British literature during their sophomore year.
